But to give more context on this story…

I have recently went to a place called “7th street burger” in which one of my friends had recommended to me.

The first time I ate it with the boys and I just remember the burger being juicy as hell with the flavors straight up melting in my mouth.

A compete 5 out of 5 stars.

But about a week or two later…

Whilst I was coming home from work…

I decided I wanted to try this burger again but at a different location (since it was closer to my home).

I was just kind of craving that food like I never have before and decided to kind of give in to that temptation (sadly not the most disciplined move of mine).

And when I took the train to the location…

It honestly looked kind of run down and shoddy…

Not like the previous location I went to…

But I still went in.

There was a guy running the cash register and another guy next to him.

The other guy was the one who tried to have a conversation with me.

Talk about work and making talk which I most certainly appreciated.

When it came time to order…

I told him I wanted a double cheeseburger (usually $10) but he decided to give it to me on the house for free.

Upon hearing that it was free.

I was a little bit in shock…

In my head I thought:

“Woah, is this real.”

I then asked the guy:

“So this is on the house?”

And my man said “yes it is on the house!”

And then I called him up and waited for my order to arrive.

Now…

Upon closer inspection selection of the situation.

The only reason why I ended up in this situation is because my friend recommended me and my other friend to this place and I founded it so good that I had to come back to it.

And as such…

That is the power of referrals on bringing new customers to your business.

Secondly…

As I went over in my post.

That burger place employee treated me like a king…

He treated me like an absolute bro.

And as a result…

That made me associate a good feeling with that burger joint that made me want to come back to it and actually want to give them money.

Thus, the lessons I have for you, your business or for even life in general…

Is to treat the people you come across like kings and provide them so much value that that want to give you money as they feel like they are robbing you.

And after all that…

That is the main lesson I have for you today.

And yes…

That burger was freaking delicious.
